Upon awakening in the morning experience the day in a whole new way. Before jumping out of bed, lay on your back and take three good breaths to welcome the new day.
Take a deep breath in allowing the diaphragm to rise. Feel the breath in the body and then release it slowly. Continue to exhale releasing the breath completely. Repeat this at least three times.
This is also a good time to set your intentions for the day.
Make a decision before placing your feet on the floor that today is a good day. The goodness of the day started with you.
Tip: When you get out of bed. Place a foot down thinking "Thank" and when other foot hits the floor "You". Let each foot rise you each day with a Thank You! Simple enough. Have a great day.
